Prayer Meetings

As a church we seek God's guidance for all that we do and meeting and praying together is central to gaining an understanding of his directing.

During lockdown we are continuing to meet to pray via Zoom

  • The first Saturday of each month at 9.00am
  • Sundays at 9:40am before our morning service
  • Monday 1.15 pm - 2.15 pm Women's prayer group
  • Thursday 8.05 pm - 9.05 pm Women's prayer Group
  • Thursday 7.30pm - 7.55pm we are meeting to pray for our nation

If you would like to join any of these, please contact the church office for details.

If you are new to praying or not sure how to pray, the Try Praying website is a great place to start:

Prayer Walking

We would encourage anyone who is out walking, particularly during the times of lockdown, to pray a blessing over every street and public building in High Wycombe and the surrounding areas.

Prayer Room

We believe that prayer is crucial. To help and encourage people to pray, there is a permanent prayer room in the HUB which is avaliable to anyone who wishes to spend time praying or in quiet contemplation. (Unfortunately this is temporarily closed due to tier 4 restrictions).

We encourage everyone to attend our pre-service prayer meetings on Sundays.  These start at 9.40am in the morning on Zoom.  All meetings, whether church members' meetings, leadership team or staff meetings, are opened and closed with prayer.

We organise a monthly prayer meeting on the 1st Saturday of each month starting at 9am. We also run our monthly men's prayer breakfast.  For more details, please go to Men's Ministry

We encourage all members to join a prayer triplet. Prayer triplets meet and spend time praying together for each other, for High Wycombe and for those organisations working to meet the needs of people within our community.

We have organised special prayer events, which have included weeks of 24/7 prayer.
